GE receives FAA clearance for first additively built part


GE AVIATION has received clearance by U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
for an additively manufactured sensor housing.
The component is part joined project with The BOEING Company.
The component will be retrofitted on 400 GE90-94B one engine type powering BOEING’s 777.
